Buscamos más que arepas / We are looking for more than arepas

My wife and I would like to start a new house church here in Panama.

We recently hosted a church-affiliated small group for 18 months. It was bi-lingual English/Spanish, included singles, couples, and children, and by most measures was successful.

At the same time we were learning about New Testament models of house church and implemented  many of those examples into the small group. It was rewarding for everyone and ended on good terms. One couple began leading another small group 45 minutes away and another couple had to move to a distant town for a new job. So we all decided to disband.

We still have a good relationship with the church that sponsored the small group. But the NT style house church that we now envision does not quite fit their mold. We are also connected to several outreach ministries here in Panama, and with a micro church in the states.
