Release The Spirit Ministry

Jim and Sue Stow are pastor-shepherds of Release The Spirit Ministry. We are located in east Richardson, near Arapaho and Plano Road. Our desire and commitment is for the Lord’s children to be free to walk close to Him. We hold gatherings where we look to the Lord to direct the flow. As shepherding pastors we teach people to discern spiritual things and we guide people to explore, discover and practice their gifts. The Lord allows us to deeply experience His presence. We currently meet every other Saturday from 7 to 10 (approx.) PM. We do our best to provide a family atmosphere. Our focus is on praising and worshiping our Lord and on relating to and caring about one another. Teaching from the scriptures may occur but has not been the central feature. When it happens, we encourage interaction rather than a one way communication. We are delighted to explore questions about the scriptures or about the Christian life. These questions may lead us into a group Bible research and study. (Bring your Bible.) We allow difference of understanding of a scriptural point and even strongly held positions but we will cut arguments short as they do not edify. New believers and not-yet believers are welcome and are encouraged to express genuine questions. We also offer ministry to individuals for generational deliverance, inner healing, restoration, and reconnection. God has anointed us to function as a team to lead people through a personal journey with the Lord. Jim has a master’s in Counseling and is trained as a Life and Business Coach. Sue is trained in promoting health through touch, nutrition and exercise.
