Appreciated With Jesus House Church Alaska

Apprenticed with Jesus is a home church that started in 2020 and has met in our home and other members homes because of Hebrews 10:[24] And let us be concerned about one another in order to promote love and good works, [25] not staying away from our worship meetings, as some habitually do, but encouraging each other, and all the more as you see the day drawing near.

We noticed after living here since 2004 that it was impossible to promote love and good works at any of the local church’s in FNSB area.  They were all in the habit of meeting but not to prepare for the coming of the Lord.

In our home church we ask 3 questions of each member, kids included:

1 How have you drawn near to God and how has He drawn near to you this last 7 days? (James)

2 Whom have you clearly communicated with about how they too can draw near to Go through faith in Jesus?  How have you loved your neighbors with the kindness and severity of the Lord? (Matthew 5-7)

3 How can we join you in prayer to overcome besetting failures and support fruitful areas of your life this week? (1 John)

We have a meal and communion along with singing.
