Description
I was raised in the Plymouth Brethren, became a follower of Christ in 1983 and been searching for ways to worship that is closer, more intimate to New Testament principles than the PB… perhaps closer to what the early brethren were after (Robert Chapman, Anthony Norris Groves, etc)… open fellowship with all who call themselves followers of Christ, regardless of theological background/convictions… believe there is neither male nor female in Christ, that all have gifts to be identified and developed to build up and edify the Body of Christ… desire to meet with believers that see themselves as members of the wider Body of believers, who hunger to learn from one another, care for one another as Christ intended… “as iron sharpens iron…” To sing worship songs together, pray with and for one another, share our faith with others outside our networks and practice common intentional (and unintentional discipleship) to draw each other closer to our Lord Jesus… to share our resources to bless others… and to experience unity in purpose without having to surrender to uniformity… Been studying in recent years writings of Watchman Nee and Frank Viola, and British open brethren (both conservative and progressive)…
