FIGHT CHURCH

Operating within the “Dead Sea” of American church culture…I am seeking men and women of all ages and backrounds..married or single..who know God deeply and want the freedom and opportunity/discipleship to discover the incredible mission of Jesus Christ (Luke 4:18,19)amidst the broken-ness of our area.
Our local mega-churches can draw a crowd for sure…But does a crowd constitute a Church? If we played Christian music at the mall and had some people talking about Jesus would the mall be considered a church? Of coarse not!
But the local pastor-centric “atrractional” church model is spreading…fast!
Meanwhile..Christians are statistically indistinguishable from the lost. The people of God are as addicted, lonely, hurting, fractured by divorce…hence we are depressed and anxious and equally medicated with the world.
Yet…the music plays on and the preachers keep telling us what the think we want to hear.
I believe that God wants to build people…the church is flesh and blood..NOT..brick and mortar.
The lost and their families are drowning in sin and broken-ness…our bretheren are drowning in the dead sea of American church culture…
And what…do the children of God and disciples of Christ Jesus not rise up…to Fight against our own sin and complacency…to fight for the lost saved and unsaved?
