With Us

Emmanuel—God with us.

Because God is with us, we desire to be truly with one another.

These words are at the heart of our vision.

Before we are called to do anything for God, we are invited simply to be with Him—to live in the reality that He is with us: present, attentive, loving, and near.

Presence

We believe the deepest longing of the human heart is for presence. Beneath our striving, searching, and longing is a desire to be fully known and fully loved—to experience the presence of God and the presence of one another.

As we learn to abide in His presence, we become people who can offer that same gift to others.

Formation

We are in the early stages of gathering a small community of people who desire to follow Jesus together in a deeper, more authentic way.

We hope to cultivate a people who are attentive to God and one another—people who listen before speaking, seek to understand before offering advice, and cultivate hearts that are soft, teachable, and responsive to the leading of the Holy Spirit.

We practice contemplative rhythms that help us slow down and become more aware of God’s presence. Through silence, soaking worship, prayer, Scripture, listening, and shared life, we create space for the Holy Spirit to gently shape us into the likeness of Christ.

Community

Whether this takes the shape of a house church, a gathering around a kitchen table, or something simpler still, our focus is not on creating a particular model. We are seeking a people who genuinely desire to know Christ, love one another well, and walk together in grace and truth, encouraging one another and supporting each person’s journey of being formed by God.

With Us is more than the name of our community; it is the way we hope to live—aware that God is with us, attentive to His presence, and open to His transforming work.
